BUCKINGHAM ATHLETIC
SAFE RETURN TO FOOTBALL POLICY
INTRODUCTION
In response to the announcement on Friday 17th July 2020 allowing competitive grassroots football to return. Buckingham Athletic FC have reviewed the F.A.’s published guidelines and produced the attached policy and guidance to ensure safety of players, staff, officials and spectators.
As with the opening of the bar the guidelines will be reviewed continuously against the risk assessment already carried out – these reviews may well mean that the guidance will change especially if there are changes made by the government or our governing body the FA.
Buckingham Athletic FC have appointed Tony Checkley as our club Covid-19 officer. Tony’s role is to remain familiar with the most up to date FA guidance and ensure this is communicated throughout the club to the
coaches, players, club officials, supporters, and committee.
Club’s attending Stratford Fields will receive all the information from our Football Secretary and be advised who they should report to on arrival if the club Covid-19 officer is not available.
The guidance is FOR ALL players, coaches, club officials, match officials, league officials, volunteers, parents/carers, and spectators.
